The National Museum of Qatar is unique among all other tourist attractions. This architectural wonder designed by French architect Jean Nouvel is heaven for history buffs. The outer structure of the museum is designed to symbolize the combination of desert and modernity and the inside shows Qatar’s history in three parts – the beginnings, the present, and the modern history. There are a total of 11 galleries displaying exhibits that are historic, rare, and artistic including archaeological artifacts. The mission of this museum is to celebrate the heritage and future of Qatar and its people. Apart from its extraordinary structure, the museum offers its international visitors a dialogue about rapid change and modernization in the country.
