All activities in Jordan of all kind will be normally open and operating naturally but strictly following social distancing measures enforced by the Ministry of Health.
Traveling instructions: All you need to know before traveling to Jordan:
Prohibited Destinations in Jordan: Any guest arriving from any of those countries is not allowed to enter the country unless he / she spent the last 14 days out of those countries: South Africa, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana & Eswatini
Arrival through land borders: Allenby Bridge (King Hussein Bridge) – Sheikh Hussein Border (Jordan Valley Border) – Arava Border / Eilat Border:
Border will open as follows:
o Allenby Bridge: all week days from 08:00AM – 15:00PM except Friday & Saturday 08:00AM – 11:00AM
Border will open as follows:
o Allenby Bridge: all week days from 08:00AM – 15:00PM except Friday & Saturday 08:00AM – 11:00AM
o Sheikh Hussein Border & Arava Border: Border will open all week days from 08:00AM – 18:00PM except Friday & Saturday where border will be fully closed.
o Arava Border: Border will open all week days from 08:00AM – 18:00PM except Friday & Saturday where border will be fully closed.
Regulations: Regardless whether guests are vaccinated of 1 or 2 shots or none vaccinated at all:
o Negative PCR test done maximum 72 hours before arrival to Jordan with a proof of negative result on the smart phone or on a hard paper to be shown to borders authorities
o Registration individuality 72 Hours before arrival time to Jordan on the governmental platform Visit Jordan and get QR code on his phone or on printed paper. Each guest must pay USD 42.00 per person upon registration on the above platform for PCR test upon arrival to the border and get receipt on his phone or on printed paper to show to authorities upon arrival to the border. PCR result will be sent to clients within 8 hours from arrival time to their e mails
o Guests – upon registration – must specify the crossing date and check if the date of crossing is full or not as borders allow only certain number of guests crossing on one day
o We recommend that travelers have a valid health insurance that covers COVID-19 treatment for the entire period of their intended visit before arrival to Jordan
o Travelers coming to Jordan no longer require a quarantine period upon arrival to the country if they test negative in the airport test.
o For non-Jordanians: Please upload a copy of your passport
o For nationalities that require prior approval before arrival please upload your visa to Jordan or contact Global Tours DMC to help with the visas
o Wearing masks, sanitizing and social distancing are a must and any infringement of measures is penalized.
o Children under 5 years old are not required to apply on the platform.
o If a traveler tests positive in the border PCR test, he/she is required to quarantine for 10 – 14 days in the hotel at his own cost before conducting the tour. Any extra cost encountered due to the extended stay or any medical treatment is to be covered by the traveler personally or through his/her insurance.
o All public and touristic outlets are open and strictly following social distancing measures enforced by the Ministry of Health.
o Travelers leaving from Jordan to countries that require a PCR test can conduct the test in one of the 40 labs authorized by the Ministry of Health to perform COVID-19 diagnostic testing. Global Tours DMC will be helping you throughout
Arrival Amman Airport – Aqaba Airport:
Regulations: Regardless whether guests are vaccinated of 1 or 2 shots or none vaccinated at all:

Shall your next arrival destination after departing Jordan requests a PCR test, then we will be happy to help and send the lab staff to your hotel in proper time to do the test if your stay is in Amman or we can ask our drivers / guides to pass by the lab during the touring day out of Amman to do the test as well. Guests can pay directly for the test charge USD 40.00 per person.
